Dr.Amzar presented EDDS to the audience during his talk in International Applied Vibration Conference (IAVIC19'). He highlighted the importance of awareness of the dangerous of drowsy driving.

From a very humble beginning in early of 2018, Early Drowsiness Detection System (EDDS) project is believed has become a milestone and also as a benchmark to initiate more collaboration of smart project between industry and academia. IAVIC 2019 themed “ Vibration Technology in the Era of Industrial Revolution 4.0 was held on 13 &14 November in Kuala Lumpur and highlighted the latest standard technology and best practices in not only solving but managing vibration issue related human, transportation, building as well as machinery. Managing vibration on seismic engineering was represented by Dr. Patrick Tiong from Doshin Rubber Products on the second day of the conference. The welcoming speech was given by Datuk Dr. Ir. Mohd Karim Abdullah who is cum as chairman of Institute of Materials Malaysia Vibration committee.
